Toronto February 14, 2004--As the winner of The Fashion Competition, Hyphen Clothing’s Liz Consiglio and John-Paul Guarraci receive a feature spot in the Toronto Fashion Incubator’s Fall 2004 New LabelsŪ show this March 2004 at no cost featuring models from B&M Models, a $1,000 cash prize and a full-page feature from ELLE CANADA, Presenting Sponsor of the New LabelsŪ show, a one-year Toronto Fashion Incubator Outreach membership and a commemorative crystal award.
Judges Rita Silvan, editor-in-chief of ELLE CANADA, Joeffer Caoc, designer for Misura by Joeffer Caoc, Debra Anissimoff, owner of Zola Shoes, and Chazz Balkwell, co-founder of WOMAN Cosmetics, reviewed applications from across the country in search of the final four; Canada’s most promising rising design stars. "The duo of Elizabeth Consiglio and John Paul Guarraci at Hyphen showed clothes that were full of good humour for their Tramp collection. Their confident use of colour and playful peacock motif gave their collection a quirky charm," says Rita Silvan.
