Modern Times Force the Fashion World to Flash.
San Francisco, CA - July, 2003 — A noticeable change has emerged from the fashion and entertainment industry, this change is causing a huge competitive combat between many trendy fashion designers. Any visitors of major designer sites may notice huge daily and weekly changes, for example one day the site is an array of flashy pink dots the next sexy seductive dark-side.
Why is there such unsettledness when comes to fashion-oriented sites. Well, as I have found many of the fashion and cosmetique companies, are extremely evolved in the creative process of their sites. In fact, many fashion designers I have worked with in the past have even gone as far to take classes to really get a handle on their image, and the designer, to set the right look for a simple magazine ad or a dramatique “better than yours” website.
You may even notice major fashion designers copy one anothers ideas just to compete. Lets hope this reasoning dosen’t make it to the runway. The root of this unsettledness is that many fashion designers feel that even a simple website with no purchase options can still motivate buyers by producing innovative visual efforts into all of their advertising sources.
