Today's Fashion for Tomorrow's Woman
August, 2003 -- If you thought farfalla was just a pasta shape, well, you were wrong! It is now making a debut in the fashion world.
Italian fashion designer Alexandra Manna-Gibbs is launching her company, Fashion Moda Italia along with her new website fashionmoda.co.uk. The main feature of the website is her unique Viva range consisting of six outfits including farfalla (which means butterfly in Italian).
The aim is to offer high quality Italian goods that have a touch of style, as well as providing a shop window for her own distinctive clothes. Accessories include products by well-known Italian fashion designers such as Laura Biagiotti, Mario Valentino, Renato Balestra and many more.
Alexandra was born and raised in the northern Italian city of Turin, where she learned fashion and textiles. She furthered her education in England, studying English and IT at Brunel College and the University of the West of England, Bristol, where she now lives with her partner and daughter.
The site is updated on a regular basis to provide clients with new fashions and ideas. Visitors with an Italian connection or an interest in Italy can join the Elite Club on-line to receive invitation to fashion shows and information on new products.
Fashion Moda Italia is always looking for new catwalk models to appear in its fashion shows and welcomes on-line applications only.
