NYC designer brings fashion exhibition to PDX.



August, 2003 -- Recently arriving from New York City, native Oregonian and designer Alison Gross will be debuting her new, experimental fashion label FRESH COOKIE at the Modern Zoo, in the Northwest Abstraction Room, on Sunday, August 31st at 8pm.

Teetering on the line between playful exuberance and striking femininity, Fresh Cookie produces one of a kind handmade, leather handbags as well women’s clothing.

“I believe the use of color in daily life is imperative to a joyful existence. I don’t think the general population has taken full advantage of the color wheel in fashion” says designer, Alison Gross. Currently Fresh Cookie can be found in Manhattan and Brooklyn, at stores such as Lingo and Landing.

The exhibition is a cooperative effort of friends and family and will rotate around dance and performance.

The fashion exhibit will take place at 8pm at the Modern Zoo, 6635 North Baltimore Avenue, Portland, Oregon. Cookies will be provided…
