Windfall Launches Fashion Fundraiser

Windfall Clothing Service in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of Canada and generous event sponsors Bank of Montreal Financial Group, Bluenotes, Acadian Group, The Design Exchange and Madison Press.
BUY DESIGN’s advisory board includes designers Brenda Beddome, Marilyn Brooks, Jennifer Dares, David Dixon, Yumi Eto, Thien Le, Paula Lishman, Linda Lundstrom, Nancy Moore, Marie Saint Pierre and Mary Rose Ward, along with the FDCC’s Robin Kay and Gucci Canada’s Katy Livingstone.
WHAT:
BUY DESIGN is a Gala Charity Auction benefit for Windfall, Canada’s only NEW clothing bank. It’s all about fashion fighting poverty. The evening includes a sumptuous silent & live auction of designer clothing, fashion accessories, trips, restaurant meals, spa days and much more. Ace charity auctioneer Gordon Cressy will host, guests will receive a stylish gift bag, personalized auction paddle and delicious Kubo dim sum. Interactive BUY DESIGN T-Shirt Makeover stations will be staffed by a team of top Toronto stylists and great door prizes, including a Stratford Festival Weekend for 2, will be on offer.

Gala proceeds will help Windfall provide new clothing to thousands of disadvantaged, homeless and abused men, women and children this year.
